A: Dude, it totally does! Chances are you're doing something wrong. I'm not saying it's your fault, I'm just saying I didn't plan for you to do that. Q: I'm looking for a specific background, what do I do?
A: Easy as pie! Do you know the content? Do you know the artist? If either of these was a yes, search for it! The form at the top of the main page lets you filter by genre, limit the number shown, search for artist or piece name, and sort by date (newest or oldest first), Artist, Work, and hit count. If you get your search all jumbled, just click the "Reset" button and you'll be brought back home.

Q: I'm looking for a super sweet sports background, what do I do?
A: Just click on the check box next to "Sports" and hit go! You'll be shown every work in that genre. You can also select multiple genres to get a nice span of works while ignoring the types you don't care about!

Q: I'm an artist and I usually use rapidshare or a similar free hosting service. Why should I switch to yours?
A: For one I think it's easier for you. For another, those other services put ads all over the page, the page you're hosting your ART on. For a third, it takes a minimum of 3 clicks and sometimes minutes of waiting to get the work. If you can't tell, I hate these sites; I've been to over 200 of these pages, and got sick of it. With my site users can click on a single link and be downloading your work! Also, you can copy and paste this link into forums, pages, whatever, and if someone clicks it download your work my page will count it as a hit. This lets you know how many people like your works.
From the majority of posts I've seen, artists are required to use another service for image hosting, like imageshack. I don't think that your time should be taken up by uploading to 2 separate places and trying to keep links straight, so I made sure it was easy to get your preview images up right next to your .tga files. Again, I have no problem with you using these images on forums or other pages; that's why I made this site.

Q: Ok, great, I can put links and pictures on other sites... How?
A: An excellent question. Once you upload your image you will be given the exact string we suggest you use in both forums and on websites! No more guess work, no more right clicking, just copy and paste, quick and simple. If you ever loose this information, though, no fear! Just copy the image and link location from anywhere on the site! Just make sure that you use a link that includes "tgaDownloader.php"!

Q: But how do I get stuff on here in the first place?
A: You'll need to sign up if you've never posted anything before. You can do this by going to the Registration page. Once registered, Log In and you'll be presented with the Admin Console. From here you have quick links to change your password, logoff, or go back to the main index. You also have a button to "Upload New Image". Click this button and you'll be presented with a form and some information. Be sure to read the info (at least the first time, I don't foresee it changing anytime soon), then fill out the form. Once you click submit, wait for a while. Once the files are done uploading, you'll be given links to post to other places to your heart's content!

A: ABSOLUTLY NOTHING! If you really want to make us here at flare576.com happy, keep on posting new images! It also makes us happy when you put images in the right genres, label them with the correct loader version, and put helpful descriptions, but we don't expect to be ecstatic all the time :)

Q: Your site doesn't work on my PSP, the images don't fit!
A: Let me be the first to introduce you to the wonderful browser feature "Just Fit." In your browser, press the "△" button, then go over to "View." Press "X", then choose "Display Mode" Once here, choose "Just Fit," and your browser will refresh the page. Voila! Everything fits and looks oh-so-pretty!

Q: I'm browsing this site on my PSP, can I still download?
A: On most sites the answer would be a resounding "NO" because of the way their scripts work. On my site, however, the answer is a happy "Yes." I've configured my site so that it knows you're on your PSP and instead of direct linking to tga you want, it gives you a link to hover over and do a "Download Link" inside of your browser! Once the tga is downloaded use your favorite file browser to move it into the proper location with the right name.
